Counselling Stories #3: A GPs Experience

This is an article I wrote for the #123GP campaign, a network of families bereaved by suicide, people with direct experience of mental health services and their carers. This campaign is advocating for radical changes to mental health services in Northern Ireland, using a human rights approach. In this article I explain why having counsellors in GP practices is essential, why society is making us sick and why I am so grateful for the work of the #123GP campaign. Read the article here:
